I ♥ Faces - "Nostalgia"

This week's theme at I ♥ Faces is "Nostalgia." The photo I am entering just screams nostalgia to me! It is of my grandpa who I call "Paw." Paw is a World War II veteran and will be 84 years old this week. This picture was taken on Memorial Day, which makes it extra special. I entered a picture of him that was taken on the same day as this one for the "sepia tone" week and ended up getting 3rd place. I like how Paw is looking away in this picture, and how you can see every wrinkle and his slight smile. My grandpa is very special to me. He is my only living grandparent and is very excited about being a great-grandfather to the little baby I am expecting in March. I will always feel a sense of nostalgia whenever I look at the series of pictures I took of Paw on that Memorial Day weekend.
