I ♥ Faces - "Red"

Happy Valentine's Day from my tiniest Valentine!  Although he is almost a year old, this is his first Valentine's Day.  I can't believe that a year ago I was finishing up last minute details on his nursery, stocking up on diapers and such, and preparing myself for the arrival of this sweet bundle!  In honor of "Red" week at I ♥ Faces, here he is in all of his sweetness!

I ♥ Faces - "Winter Wonderland"

Not much...it didn't stick, but I still bundled him up and took him outside!  I only snapped 5 pictures total because he wasn't really a fan of the cold.  This is the first picture I took and I think it turned out so cute!  Looks like he's trying to catch a snowflake on that tiny tongue!

I ♥ Faces is celebrating a birthday this week!  To celebrate, the theme is SMILES.  This picture is nothing special really, but it really shows off my little man's best feature...his precious smile!  Of all the pictures I have taken of him, this one stands out to me because of the grin, so I have chosen to enter it in this week's competition.  Head over to I ♥ Faces to check out all the fantastic smiley entries!

I ♥ Faces - "Favorite Face of 2010"

2010 was a fantastic year!  Our baby boy, Lane, was born in March and we have had such fun watching him grow.  It wasn't hard to choose my subject for my favorite photo of 2010, but it was very hard to choose exactly which picture of him!  I kept coming back to this one, so here it is--(one of) my favorite face photos of 2010!

I ♥ Faces - "Pets"

I love pet week at I ♥ Faces!  I have been waiting to enter this picture into a contest and now I finally can!  I walked in to check on our napping baby one day to find our dog Scout sitting in the rocker looking at the crib.  I ran to get my camera, and snapped this picture.  Soon after that, Lane started stirring and Scout jumped down from the chair to check on him.  This is one of my all time favorite pictures.

Here is a little video of our little man walking!  He started taking small steps over Thanksgiving Break, but really took off yesterday.  He will be 9 months on Sunday!  Way to go Lane!

And here's one more...this time he has his pants back on!  haha
